The Joy of Painting with Words: Master Calligrapher Kaz Tanahashi in Montreal
April 6 - April 8, artist, writer and Zen teacher Kazuaki Tanahashi will lead those who wish to learn the basics of brushwork from this master calligrapher in this workshop entitled “Enjoy the Brush”
Participants “will also have the chance to observe the movements of their own minds—the inner criticisms and judgments that keep them from fully enjoying each moment. Tanahashi will guide workshop participants in artistic interpretations and improvisations, opening up new possibilities for enjoyment and discovery in the creative process.”
