Random Linkage: Zen Pencils, Competitive Buddhist Book Reading League, Thay in Toronto, Not for Happiness again.

I’m feeling the effects of a cold/flu situation so it’s the best time to rely on one of these nice and easy link round-ups to take the edge off of writing a long-winded post of delusion.

• My new favourite thing in the world is Zen Pencils and I’m pouring through this site like a lunch lady with vats of Kool-aid at 12:05pm. I love the wallpapers on his site too so be sure to check those out as well.

• Going for Refuge posted their selection for Book of the Year and looks to be outdoing me in my reading of Buddhist books, not that I’m keeping a list or anything since that’s not very Buddhist right!
• So pleased to hear via the Shambhala SunSpace that Thich Nhat Hanh will be touring North America. Ping me if you’re going to the Toronto date and we can hang.
• I wanted to continue to share my appreciation for the book “Not for Happiness” by mentioning this excerpt that appears in the Shambhala Sun.
