It’s been a while huh? I’ll fill you in on what’s been up shortly but to tide you over, here’s what I’ve been checking out lately:
- “Leading the life of a practitioner” from What Meditation Really is.com
- Word is there is a new documentary called “An Uncommon King” about Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche’s life story. An Indiegogo campaign just launched to help finish the production of the film so it can be shown in theaters, to produce public DVD’s and to complete other miscellaneous tasks to finalize the film.
- The Sumeru Books Blog posted a link to a news report that “Ottawa freelancer Mark Bourrie says he cut ties with Xinhua when he discovered an assignment would be filed to the government, not the news service.”
- I’m currently reading “Buddhist Meditation and the Internet: Practices and Possibilities” by Joanne Miller so be on the lookout for a review soon.
