Here are a few things that caught my attention this week:
- The teachings on “The Eight Worldly Concerns” delivered by Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo as part of Tricycle Retreats - their online video teachings series is currently ruling my world.
- The Cassandra Papers speaks of “Confronting the Limits of Complexity”
- I’d like to check out this book: “Teach Us to Sit Still- A Skeptics Search for Health and Healing” by Tim Parks. Here’s a reading from the book that piqued my interest.
- I’m currently getting my film fix on at the 15th annual Fantasia Film Festival. They’re a client of the company I work with, so I was super stoked to be able to help in the release of this website (as well as to get an early look at the films and special events before launch).
- Trailer for the film “Positive Creations” about artist Chris Dyer
- Julian Baggini, co-founder of The Philosopher’s Magazine, speaks on the subject matter of his latest book: The Ego Trick: In Search of the Self
