The Practice of Contemplative Photography - Want List

After listening to the interview on the Buddhist Geeks podcast with Andy Karr on the subject of Karr and Michael Wood’s new book “The Practice of Contemplative Photography” I have added it to my want list.

It speaks to the art and practice of miksang - pure perception through photography. There are elements of letting go, of releasing attachment, of seeing the world as it is. Not as easy as just pressing a button… or is it?

Do you practice miksang? Have you taken a course in this practice? I’d love to hear your stories.
