Zen Dot Studio - Buddhist artisan
After recouping my errant RSS feeds and having danced with the frustration of thinking I’d lost a whank-load of good reading, I took some time today to catch up on some old Buddhablog posts.
I came across a fantastic blog that I love love love which features the authentic voice of a artist who creates mixed media artwork with a Buddhist slant. Zen Dot Studio is based out of Vancouver, Canada and does lovely work, as seen here.
The artist has an Etsy shop where you can purchase her work such as prints, original pieces, journals, and cards.
But it isn’t just Zen Dot Studio’s artwork that is awesome. It is her blog which is so engaging.
Here’s a snippet from this post for you to check out:
“It’s one of those things I like to think of as the good news and the bad news all rolled into one. It’s good news because it reminds me that I am not alone in my confusion because sometimes I’m so confused I think I’m the only one that’s confused. Sheesh, that’s confusing! Would someone please just hit me with the enlightenment stick. And well the bad news is that confusion can feel pretty unsettling, like a little ball of chaos rumbling around inside you, maybe how you’d feel if you’d just eaten the spiritual version of a deep fried mars bar? And I think the reason this comment on confusion resonates is I see it’s truth in my daily life.”
Well said. Well said. I feel it in my daily life too. Thanks for the great blog and great art!
