Given the crapp-o weather these days this contest is pretty timely.

Treehugger and ID Magazine have launched the Umbrella Inside Out Competitions.

1. Design a new umbrella that will conform to ‘Cradle to Cradle’ principles…

2. Design a garmet made out of discarded umbrella fabric or parts…

FINALLY – Environmentally Friendly Housecleaners in Montreal….

Housecleaning and I don’t really get along. I never have time for it probably becuase I HATE IT. Have a pug that sheds 8x his weight in fur doesn’t really help to keep things spic and span so I broke down and hired some cleaners to take care of business.

Zenith Cleaners use environmentally-friendly products and left my place smelling like fresh lavender! Wowza. My home hasn’t ever been so clean – I was thrilled to have them in and finally locate an environmentally friendly house cleaning company here in Montreal. Great service, great people and a great business! I will be willing to do late night infomercials on Treehugger for these folks!
