Oh man..You tell me if Karmatron – The Most Powerful Kundalini Warrior in the Universe doesn’t sound like a crazy character.

With a whopping list of of over 18,000 characters, 121 magic-mala waving Buddhists can be found within the Comic Book Religion database. The shenpa-laden, collector in me wants to pick up every darn issue listed but I will work with this desire and focus on the comics I already have floating around the house. One such set of graphic novels is Osamu Tezuka’s “Buddha” series, which Shambhala SunSpace recently posted would be made into a film, released in 2010.

I do have all the best intentions to finish this lovely, geeky Buddhist book this weekend and will shun any zombie infiltrations to ensure that I stick to my guns. I’m loving what I’ve read so far and am looking so forward to reading about the author’s take on Princess Mononoke
