I wrote a post over at the Rebel Buddha blog last week on “Heating up the Dharma: The Container Principle” so do pop over there if you want to check it out or add your comments. There’s a decent discussion going on about digital dharma and whether it is truly a container for the buddhadharma so chime in if you have something to add.
You’ll also notice that the folks at Rebel Buddha used a great image of the “Punk Rock Buddha” from TheKamikazen. Lookin’ good!
Me? Well the post has given me quite a bit to consider. I’m not quite sure if I agree that a book on the dharma has any more value the a website on the same topic. The containers are certainly different formats for delivering the message. Whether it’s a raft we are to ditch or a speedboat- the end result is pretty much the same from my perspective.
