I need more discipline in my practice. Has anyone noticed that going on retreat has helped to kickstart their practice and renew them with a greater sense of discipline?
I often wish that the new car smell came back to my meditation practice… Or that I could get as jazzed about sitting as I do about all of the distactions that I easily get fixated on.

My experience has been that retreats provide a sense of “dharma gasoline” that helps me regain that new car smell.
The longer the retreat, the fuller the tank.
