Richard Renaldi: Touching Strangers
I just discovered this wonderful photographer, Richard Renaldi who has captures moments of ‘ordinary extraordinariness’ with such precision and beauty.

I was particularly interested in his ‘Touching Strangers’ series in which Richard asks for total strangers to pose together, touching. Some people in these photos look like old friends or members of the family whereas others look as if they are forcing themselves to be at ease for this moment in time and wishing for it to end.
How are you relating to others? Strangers? Friends? Enemies? Those who bump into you by on the way to work? Those who breathe too loudly on the meditation cushion beside you?

I’m so glad that you posted this series. Thank you.
Each of us encounters strangers every day, we touch them and they touch us. How is it for us?
(By the way, is there a way to configure your site so that I don’t have to enter my name, email and URL every time I leave a comment? It currently doesn’t save this information and because I find your site very rewarding, I’d like to be able to comment more easily. Thanks! Barry)
