    oh and I wrote an essay recently on the conventional side of the story. That is, outlining how the self or ‘person’ exists.

    Miphams Beacon of Certainty, Freedom From Extremes, The Karmapa’s Middle way, Meditation on Emptiness.
    That way you get the perspective of emptiness from all four of the major branches of Tibetan Buddhism.

    Andy Karr’s Contemplating Reality comes at emptiness from the point of view of the progressive stages of meditation on emptiness. A very hepful way to grok the notion and experience of emptiness.
