I can’t express enough how much I am looking forward to reading Ethan Nichtern’s new book ‘One City’.
After checking out the prologue which you can read via the link below, I haven’t been so stoked for the release of a book in a long time.
Ethan’s writing style is so sharp and lucid and weaves Buddhist vernacular with a 21st century worldview that a ‘young’ Buddhist such as myself finds refreshing and inspiring.
On my to do list, under the line item for ‘sit your ass down on the cushion tonight’ will be to pre-order this book from Wisdom Publications. Thanks to them sending me their latest catalogue, my to do list is also filled up with ordering a kazillion books that I will have no time to read until I finish One City….
In my next life, I want to come back as a Buddhist librarian or maybe a printing press for Shambhala Publications.
