Bob Thurman @ TED Talks
I found a great link from the awesome ~C4Chaos blog featuring a TED talk by Bob Thurman on the interconnectedness that Buddhism and technology shares.
Personally, I found it interesting to examine the spotlight that technology gives on the suffering of others that we may not normally be exposed to kept alone in our little closeted lives. After my last post ranting on Facebook, I re-examined how it does allow people to share their memories of friend and family members who have passed away as well as to provide support those suffering from disease and misfortune.
All in all, there is an element of mindfulness that needs to be displayed when one engages in anything. Technology is no different.
