Secrets….
Over the holidays, I was fortunate to have gone to the movies after a long hiatus thanks to various eye-weirdness. The lucky flick that won the attention of my newly fixed-up corneas… Borat.
Yeah. I see these memes floating around about people illuminating others on their hidden secrets or guilty pleasures so I’ll give you a couple of mine. Samsara can be so cloying sometimes!
1. I watch Coronation Street daily. This has been my ritual since I was a young ‘un and probably isn’t likely to change. I think if a nuclear war was to hit, the only things that would survive would be cockroaches and the cast of Coronation Street.
2. Back to Borat… I love lowbrow comedy. I come from a generation of stupid skate videos, fart jokes and gross pranks involving people eating pickles which I’ve stuck in dog food. I would write on you with a permanent marker if you fell asleep in my vicinity. I can’t help myself.
3. For years, I used the excuse that I’m a Scorpio to justify much of my behaviour. I still have some attachment to checking my horoscope daily (probably a Scorpio trait..)
4. I like reading what people search for when they stumble upon this Blog… Is it the Buddhist-related topics or the link to the ‘Dick in a Box’ video?
5. I’m scared of where the world is headed. I’m believing the hype. Al Gore, can I hide in your fallout shelter with you when the time comes?
