The Hour- Season 3

A review…

Look- As a design-driven individual, I’m really impressed with the opening credits of season 3 of The Hour.

Feel- I’m glad that it is the same old George, with the same old ascerbic wit but in a new, revamped format. The show seems tighter and most of the superfluous content whittled down or eliminated.

Idea- I must admit, I was hoping that the opening would feature a tongue in cheek attempt to pass of the show off as a re-creation of “The One” – the failed entertainment program that ran over the summer.

Diss- For me, 11pm is a little late and I would prefer the show to be on in a more primo time spot such as 9pm. Thankfully through the power of PVR technology, I’m able to catch up with only a one day delay.

Overall the show is super and I’m happy that it’s back on the air.

Each day I thank my lucky stars that we have the CBC. Avi Lewis is my new main man and his new program on Newsworld is the absolute best! You owe it to yourself to check it out…
