Rootin’ by the Canal

Well I’m all miserable and puffy from a Thursday night root canal. I’m eating mushed up spaghetti and pancakes and sipping lukewarm water (not all at the same time- that’s gross)!
Things I am grateful for:
- Mushed up spaghetti
- Mushed up pancakes
- Lukewarm water
- Podcasts to keep me company while convalescing (of note the HILARIOUS title of CBC Radio 3′s show announcing the demise of 2 great Canadian bands, Death from Above 1979 and the Deadly Snakes “DEADLY SNAKES FROM ABOVE”)
- Calls and IM chats with friends on a lazy Saturday
- Smiling pugs who are still cheerful even though their pugnic has been rained out.
