Weekend of nothingness

Wow. Have you ever had a long weekend that felt like you were on vacation? What a relaxing, unproductive weekend spent reading Bloglines feeds, old magazines, books that I’ve neglected, catching Beckham’s big goal and eating pizza washed down with tiny little Coronitas.

Also had a minor explosion of the stovetop and if an electrician was to come today to fix it, the cost would be $260. Tomorrow, the cost will be $100+. Needless to say, the grill is getting a nice workout with some eggplant to be used for a feta/brown basmati rice and tomato sauce combo. Yummers.

To top it off, tomorrow is the last French class I will have for the summer! I will be starting the Journalism program at Concordia in 2 weeks and looking forward to gettin’ my write on. Ever since I was a little one, I’ve written in little journals, interviewed family members, had zines so I’m hoping that some courses will serve to inspire me.
