Renegade Buddha
Just discovered a great new Buddhablog while trolling through the mighty weekly round-up of Buddhist Blog posts on Blogmandu
Renegade Buddha (in his own words) examines “tension the between two completely different lifestyles and his reluctance to participate in organized religion.” Wowsa! This is indeed the same raft that I’m floating on. Stuck between having that catchy ‘Arctic Monkey’s song floating around in my head and various mantras and recitations. (I only wonder if the next Dalai Lama will wear a studded belt and Chuck Taylors.)
But I digress… Renegade Buddha has just posted about the need for dharma centres, teachers and pracitioners to start video blogging. I think that the emergence of ‘digital dharma’ in which we are able to use mp3′s, videos, wikis and other technologies to spread the teachings is key to help those in remote areas come in contact with the dharma.
