I hear ya...I am addicted to buying design books - in fact I have about 10 new books from the past few months that I haven't even begun to sink into (you'll recall the "inactivist" novel you leant me, which I was quite inactive in reading.) I think books can often be seen as an extension of our identities - who we are, or moreover, who we WANT to be. They offer an opportunity to further our knowledge, creativity, awareness, as well as being sexy design-art objects. However, when I look at my dozen great reads sitting closed on the coffee table I wonder what is stopping me from opening them and diving in? Perhaps I should go buy a book on that.
